yesterday, i went to cineleisure to watch simpsons! with jon ti, adrian and his gf, christie.
urhm, simpsons was pretty funny, i mean a lot of childish humour, but its a not-so-enjoyable-to-watch-a-second-time-kinda-movie.
*note the bold.
after some starbucks, i went over to 1utama to meet up with wildan, aruna and arqam.
and arqam bought movie tickets. GUESS WHAT WE WATCHED (hint* the words above are bold for a reason). YUP, i watched simpson again for the second time within 5 hours. but its okay, i mean i only told arqam once that i was gonna watch simpsons before meeting up with them. i should have drummed it into his head. owh well, its kay, sarcasm aside, i sorta forgave him. i mean he owes me big time .and after all, i did have fun spoiling bits of the movie for him :)
and i slept through a quarter of the movie too, so i guess tht was value for money :P

i guess its time to get serious and start studying properly.
6th aug - stats exam
9th aug - business exam
11th aug - marketing exam
13th aug - starting ALevels.

but i was thinking of taking a week off before starting ALevels- not sure yet.

thats all i have fo today. not much of an update.

i would love to update ppl on my lives- but today, for some reason, i feel that having blogs are not just about telling people about wht's new in your life and telling them events that jst happen to you. and thus i decided that i shouldnt jst be an updater of a naina's life, but also BE naina myself.
however, there are certain things that people JUST HAVE TO KNOW.

on friday, jon ti and i were at college (student coucilling) and aruna was meant to meet me there. she was dropped off at the john hancock building (where fitness first is, near KPD) and jon and i went to fetch her. so we had to cross the main road and stuff.
after i met her (FINALLY) we were making our way back to main block.
jst bear in mind that i am a clumsy clutz of a careless being.
so we were walking along the main road. and jon was in front of me, and aruna was behind me. along the side of the road, there were these drains where we were walking.

jon: naina, there's a hole here. watch out.
naina: okay

OMG IT WAS HILARIOUS.
my whole left leg went *plop* right into it... and i kinda yelped cos of the surprise...

aruna: OMG!
jon: *turns around* HAHA, WHAT DID I SAY NAINA?
*naina pulls herself out easily(according to aruna, my fall was very gracious. oxymoron much?)

after 5 mins of laughter.... naina was asked: are you okay?

i went for my first driving lesson yesterday. you knw, the painful 5 hour lecture... yeah.
thank god it was in english tho. and thank god i had jon ti there to be bored with.

the MYBOR committee (of which i am the vice president of) is planning a 24 hour non-stop dance marathon in january. its gonna ROCK.
omggg. so excited!! wna knw info? call me.. anyone can go for it!
course it wnt be so easy for me to juggle the organization of the ball, this dance marathon and stuff when i'm doing A Levels. and since i'm starting a month late (with no holiday might i add) i'm gonna be swamped and lifeless :(

10 Things you probably didnt know about naina

1. i have only ever used a vacuum twice in my life. both for the student coucil room. both times of which i was so fond of learning this new art

2. i am H-O-P-E-L-E-S-S with directions unless its arnd areas i am EXTREMELY familiar with

3. i can cut a deck of cards into half with one hand

4. when copying notes down in stats class, i purposely scribble all over it and write terribly so that when i go home, i am forced to re-write it neatly cos i cnt take the mess

5. to get over my nail biting habit, i have once tried to put a plaster on each fingernail of each finger. i managed to stop biting for a few hours. but i looked absolutely ridiculous for that period of time

6. i arrange my clothes according to colour and sleeve length in my closet

7. my colour notes that i study with dont actually help me with the memorizing; its jst psychological

8. my room is actually very messy, though hard to believe. however it is all organized mess

9. i used to find difficulty saying the word 'aeroplane' when i was very small, so i used to say "apichum" instead

10. i would like to spike up my hair one day, just to see wht it'll be like

whts tht? good question. tht's a part of my birthday song from the ever talented members of staff at TGiFridays. confused? good. lemme start from the beginning.

Kay, so friday, 20th of April 2007, was my birthday. *thnx for the wishes everyone*
so i had lunch with deven and his friend, kumar. it was cool, hehe. and they dropped me home.
and then some of SR (maddie, caryn, ji min and clare) took me to the Curve.
so we went to TGiFriday's for dinner. and dinner was cool, but then it came to the happy bdae bit. not to say it wasnt cool, but it was sure as hell embarassing. i was so totally gobsmacked and flabberghasted and entertained.
the staff (abt 4 waiters and 1 waitress) came up with a slice of yummy cake in their hand. now they couldn't be normal, oh no, they HAD to do smth freaky/funnie/weird/entertaining.
here's how it went...

Waiter; so who's the bdae girl?
*girls points at Naina, lyk she was an interesting hippo kids admire at the zoo.
Waiter; wht's your name?

Waiter: Dana

Waiter: nehna
*naina shrugs it off. why isnt she surprised? its close enuf anyways.
waiter: *shoutz* birthday in the house!
other waiters: HOO HA!

waiter: would you mind standing up on the chair?
naina: yes..
idiotic "friends" of Naina: naina.. stand on the chair... cmon... jus do it...
*naina reluctantly stands on chair, being ever so careful not to avert her sickly glare off the members of SR.
waiter: now you have 2 choices, either sing a song or make a speech.
naina: speech. (naina's handed this contraption that supposedly is a substitute for a mic)
naina: (looking down at the ever evil friends of hers) toh, ji min, clare and caryn, ty fo -----insert mushy words/words of gratitude here, as naina doesnt remember much of it-----
*waiters + friends clap.
*naina felt as tho she was blushing, but her skin tone is dark, so it was unnoticable.
waiters + girls: Haaapppppyyy Biiirrtthhhddaaay toooo yyoooouuu/Naainnnaa X4.
*naina quickly resumes her seat, smiling away, seemingly being polite, but really cursing away behind that ever-grinning mask.

and so the waiters start some serious birthday songs/rapping/singing/beats. it was AWESOME. simply awesome. a total knee-slapper at some points. and a small sample of it is basically the start of this blog. i cnt remember most of the rest.

kay, so after the delightful free entertainment, clare went home (whore) and we went to cineplex to watch death water. it was so corny and lame and stupid. and thus it was fun mocking it. seriously, we can make a MUCH better movie than tht. lyk one that actually MADE sense. i didnt get it, why was the damn mother eating the bones of a non-existent baby? EXPLAiN!

uhm, then we had a usual stop to buy accessories. and we foosed/karaoked 1 song.

then it was time to go.
we first went to pick up maddie's bf. and OMG, he lives in the centre of a maze. no joke. nxt time he goes there, he should create a trail of bread crumbs, or smth.

then we got dropped home.

but my birthdae treat didnt end there! oh no it didnt.
on saturday, heng-the-awesome took me to the good charlotte concert.
yes the GOOD CHARLOTTE CONCERT!

she got free DIGI VIP tickets, 2 of em. =o) oh how i love her.
i met her arnd 5.30 at her house, and we got ready. left at six. reached dunoo when.
the line to go into the carpark A of the bukit jalil stadium (whr they were to perform) was absolutely ridiculously long! it was lyk WOAHH. but we, being us, got the chance to slip in at the front of the queue.
SONIA HENG GOT TO MEET GOOD CHARLOTTE!! freaking evil fuyoh digi users. -.-
but thts so cool! heng got to meet them. take pics. get their autographs. and TALKED TO JOEL MADDEN. omgggg. so happie fo the woman. she was totally flustered. =o)
so while she was thr, i waited RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE STAGE with desi- fafa's sister. hehe, i had company. yay.
so we waited forever- in which desi broke my clapper x( - until 9.smth when utt, denise, toby and siti took the stage. and the local bands were brought on. they were cool. especially jason lo. x) then before good charlotte came on, their awesomest drumset came on. its AMAZINGLY beautiful. my fav colour,hehe.
and then they came on.
oh wow.
their songs were rocking.
their attire was smoking.
and joel madden was burning.
amazing concert.
joel madden held my hand! lyk he came RIGHT in front of us. and EVERYONE pushed forward.
it was the stickiest situation i've ever been in. literally.
we were basically trapped in this human-sandwich-vertical-thrust thing. it was so awesomely bad.

then it ended arnd 11.45.
and our throats were parched.
we went to bangsar McDz to satiate our hunger.
and sonia's dad dropped me home.

heng got this goodie bag. and she got another good charlotte shirt. so she gave it to me. yay =0)
and she got the awesome MTV shirt. OMG its so kewl.

i lost my earring tht night. LoL. & my voice. but i dnt sound lyk the famous dying-duck as i usually do when i get a sore throat.

and then we walked abt the fountain area, where seth decided to pull my earrings and thus tried to decapitate my ears. pain.

we went to one u ytd... and some of us went to juen's bdae thingy, at the karaoke thingy. others were lepaking arnd... then most of them went to watch norbie or ghost rider. i, however, went home. fun?
i've been watching heroes... i've finished episode 15. kewl. gotta wait till nxt week to watch ep 16. damn. i've also been keepin up with gilmore girls... lovin it. season 5 now. but then i've forced myself to take a break cos i have to study. fun?
obviously i'm puttin off my studies and blogging... in fact that's the only reason why i blog. thats obvious. speaking of which, i've got so many assignments and stuff . urgh... fun?

i should be labelled 'blogger ditcher of the year.'i'm pathetic.
well actually, i'm jus stating that for your sake, so that you would think that i think i'm pathetic. when actually...i'm not. not pathetic that is. on the contrary, i think i live so much of a life that it makes sense that i dont blog. which is very contradictory at the moment cos a) i'm blogging now, and b) i'm incessantly ranting rubbish...and enjoying it.

on the 3rd of november 2006, we had our HMC Ball thingy. it was really cool. it was at the Legend Hotel and the hall was pretty awesome. the entertainment wasn't, well, extremely entertaining, but the food, hall, music, events and dance floor were gr8. i just kicked that stupid fellow out of my room. fewf. and i gave him 20Sen to go and buy a pirated life down at pasar malam. he desparately needs one. speaking of the events at the HMC Ball, there was a lucky draw. they draw your ticket numbers out of a box, and 10 prizes go out in a hall of over 400 ppl. guess wad! lets see. last friday, after college, nini, fafa, ila, fabian and i went to mid valley. we hung abt and ate at sushi king. then ni & fa left so ila, fabian and i watch casino royale. it was cool. i loved the casino part and i LOVED the car. but it so stupidly got ruined. =o( and james bond wasn't even hot. he jus had nice eyes and a good facial structure. -.- that was a waste. lol. then we went to coffee bean, and then home.

on tuesday, after maths exam a lot of us went to one utama. this bunch of people were:
nini, fafa, ila, fabian, aiman, idris, badrinna, nabil, charlene, jason, shima, sebastian, matt, jillian, seth, bernard and me. yup. and we went to eat at shakey's and then we watched deja vu.
before we went to eat, i met heng, mel and nicole. good to see mel again. =o)
deja vu was a good movie, seriously. so awesome. hehe.
then people started dispersing... some of us went to eat ice cream, and in the end, me, nini, fafa, charlene, fabian, jillian and jason were left and we went sushi king. then all went home.
